FIBA has announced that the four wild cards to participate in the the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup will go to Brazil, Finland, Greece and Turkey.  Wayne Parrish, President and CEO of Canada Basketball commented, “We put together a strong case for inclusion.  While we are disappointed, we must now turn our focus to putting together a strong program this summer that will allow our team to play as many games as possible.”
