Senior Women’s National Team Will Host China For Three Friendly Games
Toronto, ON – Canada Basketball is excited to announce that the Senior Women’s National Team (SWNT) will host China’s SWNT for three friendly games in the Greater Vancouver Area, on May 16th, 17th and 18th. These games will be important in the preparation for Canada’s SWNT as they head to the FIBA World Olympics Qualifying Tournament for Women in Turkey, June 25 – July 1, to fight for a spot at the 2012 Olympic Games. China’s SWNT has already qualified.
Additional details regarding these friendly games versus China will be announced at a later date.
