Last week, Canada Basketball submitted an application for the senior men’s national team to be considered for a wild card berth to attend the 2014 FIBA World Cup next summer in Spain. A total of 15 nations have applied for four wild cards.  FIBA will make their decision on which countries will receive wild card berths in February 2014.
