TORONTO, ON (May 6, 2019) - Canada Basketball’s Men High Performance Program will conduct open tryouts for the 2019 Junior Men’s (U19) National Team, Saturday June 8th at Humber College, North Campus.
The tryouts are open to Canadian male athletes born January 1, 2000 or later who have a valid Canadian passport. Players will be assessed by national team coaches for potential inclusion in the training camp, immediately following the open tryout.
The U19 National Team will travel to Heraklion, Greece, and defend Canada’s 2017 FIBA U19 Gold Medal, in the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2019, from June 28 – July 7, 2019.

To register, please follow the link below. A signed copy of the insurance waiver will also be required upon registration. Please Note - FOR ATHLETES UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE: Parent/guardian signatures are required for all forms in order for athletes to participate.
All athletes are responsible for their own gear, taping and expenses to attend. There will be an athletic therapist onsite. All athletes must bring with them a Canadian passport and a provincial birth certificate.
