One of the many reasons I love basketball so much is because of how close it made my mom and I. We both share a love and passion for the game. Growing up, I always wanted to be the player my mom was. Now, she continues to cheer me on, celebrate my successes and help me push through hard times. She's the reason I am where I am today and I'm forever grateful for that.
